Welcome to DealLocal. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using DealLocal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
 

1. Who We Are

DealLocal is a New Zealand-based platform that offers paid members access to exclusive deals from local, owner-operated businesses on the Hibiscus Coast.
 

2. Membership

  • Membership is available for an annual fee of NZD $25.

  • Membership gives access to exclusive deals listed on the website and app.

  • Memberships are non-refundable, except as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

  • Memberships are for individual use only and may not be shared or transferred.
     

3. Use of Deals

  • Deals are offered by participating businesses and may be subject to their own terms (e.g. expiry dates, exclusions, or limitations).

  • DealLocal does not guarantee the availability, quality, or accuracy of offers listed.

  • All transactions and redemptions are between the member and the business directly.
     

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.

  • Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account.

  • Use the website and deals lawfully and respectfully.
     

5. Business Participation

  • DealLocal does not charge businesses to be listed.

  • Businesses may join or leave the platform at any time.

  • Offers are provided voluntarily by businesses and may be changed or withdrawn at their discretion.
     

6. Privacy

We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such collection and use.
 

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the DealLocal website—including logos, graphics, text, and software—is the property of DealLocal or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
 

8. Liability Disclaimer

  • DealLocal acts as a platform connecting members and local businesses.

  • We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of a deal, including any issues with products or services provided by participating businesses.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
     

9. Cancellation & Termination

  • You may cancel your membership at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the remaining term.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the platform.
     

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll notify members of significant changes via email or on the website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
